Free Government Information (FGI) is a place for initiating dialogue and building consensus among the various players (libraries, government agencies, non-profit organizations, researchers, journalists, etc.) who have a stake in the preservation of and perpetual free access to government information. FGI promotes free government information through collaboration, education, advocacy and research.

Guantanamo Bay Document Release

On March 3, 2006, the Department of Defense released Reprocessed Combatant Status Review Tribunal (CSRT) and Administrative Review Board (ARB) Documents in response to litigation pursued by the Associated Press. These documents include Testimony of Detainees Before the Combatant Status Review Tribunal, Testimony of Detainees Before the Administrative Review Board, and Administrative Review Board Summaries of Detention/Release

Hear the detainees’ stories without government spin. Interesting stuff.
