Our mission

Free Government Information (FGI) is a place for initiating dialogue and building consensus among the various players (libraries, government agencies, non-profit organizations, researchers, journalists, etc.) who have a stake in the preservation of and perpetual free access to government information. FGI promotes free government information through collaboration, education, advocacy and research.

Presentations on homeland security and library promotion added to Fall 2005 DLC page

We have updated our Fall 2005 Depository Library grassroots proceedings page with two sets of presentation slides linked to FGI by permission of the authors.

Our thanks to presenters James Shaw and Greta Marlatt for sharing their content with Free Government Information prior to close of Council.

If you presented at the Depository Library Council/Federal Depository Library Program Conference and would like to see your presentations available here at FGI, please drop me an e-mail at dnlcornwall AT alaska.net with either your presentation files or your presentation URL. Letting us host your files does NOT preclude you from also sharing them with the Government Printing Office.

Have a comment about these presentations or about the meeting in general? Just use the “add comment” link at the bottom of this page or at the bottom of the conference page!
