Our mission

Free Government Information (FGI) is a place for initiating dialogue and building consensus among the various players (libraries, government agencies, non-profit organizations, researchers, journalists, etc.) who have a stake in the preservation of and perpetual free access to government information. FGI promotes free government information through collaboration, education, advocacy and research.

State Agency Databases Activity Report 5/18/2014

It’s been a quiet few weeks for the volunteers at the State Agency Databases Project at http://wikis.ala.org/godort/index.php/State_Agency_Databases.

FEATURED DATABASE

Today’s featured database is from Annie Moots, who maintains the Missouri page:

“Know MO” Consumer Complaints – http://www.consumer.ago.mo.gov/Know_MO/ – Missouri consumers can check this database for complaints filed with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office about individuals or businesses doing business in Missouri.  The database contains over 100,000 consumer complaints and is searchable by keyword.  Results contain the number of complaints, the category of the complaint, when it was filed, whether or not it was successfully resolved, and if it made it into an AGO news release.
