Our mission

Free Government Information (FGI) is a place for initiating dialogue and building consensus among the various players (libraries, government agencies, non-profit organizations, researchers, journalists, etc.) who have a stake in the preservation of and perpetual free access to government information. FGI promotes free government information through collaboration, education, advocacy and research.

50-State “Blue Book” list has been updated

The 50 state listing of “state blue books” and similar resources I originally prepared for the 2005 Nevada Library Association conference has been updated. This would not have been possible without the generous response of the State-GILS mailing list.

There are still blank spots on the table, which I hope some of you will help me fill. Thanks!
