Copyright Office adds RSS Feeds
The US Copyright Office is now offering RSS feeds for some of their pages: Currently they are offering feeds for these content areas: Copyright Office Home Page http://www.copyright.gov/rss.xml NewsNet http://www.copyright.gov/newsnet/rss.xml Federal Register http://www.copyright.gov/fedreg/rss.xml Current Legislation http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/rss.xml Looking at their Federal Register feed I was pleased to see that it was limited to notices put out by the Copyright Office. This is a very helpful feature for people who don't wish to scan the entire Federal Register Table of Contents each day. Congrats to the Copyright Office for offering these features. Climate Reports Politically Filtered
The New York Times reported today, June 5, government climate report has repeatedly edited in a way that softened links between such emissions and global warming. Philip A. Cooney, chief of staff for the White House Council on Environmental Quality, "removed or adjusted descriptions of climate research that government scientists and their supervisors, including some senior Bush administration officials, had already approved.
