College Scorecard
College Scorecard is the new U.S. Department of Education website that provides detailed comparative information about colleges. (The Department has abandoned its earlier attempt to rate colleges.) The site includes both a user-friendly front end of statistics and graphs and a separate data site (College Scorecard Data) with data behind the College Scorecard, as well as other data on federal financial aid and earnings information. The Chronicle of Higher Education has a useful review of the site.
The information at College Scorecard overlaps some with the Department’s College Navigator site.
